Right To Bear Arms / Guns

People should have the right to bear arms. Once a background check has been completed and comes back clear, a person then can proceed to purchase a gun. Those who have a write up on their background check will then be admitted for future questioning and testing. If you are purchasing a handgun or rifle, a mental evaluation and safety course will be required upon purchase and every three years following the purchase date. Military weapons (flame throwers, machine guns,etc.) will only be in the hands of those with the right permit and will undergo safety and mental evaluations yearly. Safety courses will be run by the government. People have the right to have, to carry and to own as many firearms as they choose to protect them as long as they are not a criminal with serious charges, they are at the right state of mind and they take the correct courses without any problems or suspicious activity.

Concealed Carry

As crimes happen everyday, people should have the right to conceal carry. Handguns should be allowed to be carried on those who have been through training and have received their permit.Additional training and evaluations will be conducted every few years after you have received your permit. The gun must properly fit and be secure in the holster and no bullets are allowed in the chamber. The gun must be on safety while on the person and all bullets must be elsewhere. Concealed carry should be allowed for those who do not have a serious criminal background and have no mental disabilities (bipolar, schizophrenia,etc.) You can conceal carry anywhere except for hospitals, schools and anywhere security and police are present.

Open-Carry

All people who wish to open carry must meet certain criteria in order to obtain or wear a firearm. Individuals must be of at least eighteen years old in order to purchase or open carry a firearm and must have a permit. To obtain a permit they must undergo a safety course and pass it. Then with their permits they may open carry.

Taxes

Our party seeks to make significant tax cuts for the middle class and set higher taxes on the wealthy. Doing so will allow more discretionary income for the middle class families and will also help cover for extra expenses that the middle class has had to pay off for years that the wealthy haven’t paid as much for. We also believe that a veteran that has served for over 10 years in the armed forces will have lower taxes to pay. Enacting these tax cuts for military veterans will also lead to an increase in the military’s forces. These ideals will change the way America works toward lowering the national debt and making allowing social classes to do their job to their best ability without stressing about taxes as much.

Energy

Our party believes that we should be using better ways to gain sources of energy. Having better sources of energy will help conserve the environment. These better and efficient ways to get energy will also lower the intensity of global warming. If we keep on using bad ways of obtaining energy, it may lead to the decline in animal’s habitats and their way of life. The ways that should be limited and highly regulated for obtaining energy including drilling for oil, mining for coal, and having energy plants. In addition, drilling for oil has been found to have a negative effect on groundwater that is used for drinking. We believe that obtaining energy through solar, wind, and water power should be highly promoted and used primarily for getting our sources of energy.

Environment

We believe that it is our moral responsibility and obligation as individuals to be good stewards toward the resources and environment of our country through conservation. Our policy balances the economic development and private property rights in terms of conservation goals. We encourage and safeguard private property and its rights because we link it to our environmental agenda. Environmental stewardship is best advanced and shows most prosperity when property is privately held. Public access to federal and public lands should be permitted for recreational activities.

Marijuana

The usage of marijuana shall only be for medical purposes. No one with medical needs shall be caught with the drug without a medical permit and a medical ID. The use of drugs for leisurely activities shall be banned. If caught with marijuana without ID and permit they will face jail time.

Healthcare

Our party will have free healthcare for the people who really need it. It will be strictly regulated by doctors and partially government. It will be called the affordable healthcare act. We will no longer have obamacare because that was more about the power of the government than actually helping people medically. It also put America in a huge financial debt. We want to help people who really need medical attention, but not just for those who cannot afford healthcare.

Stem cell research

Our party will support stem cell research when it is beneficial to a human medically. Some examples of when it is beneficial: cure for diseases, ease of treatment, genetic disorders, decreased in pain and suffering, improved healthcare for future generations. Stem cell research has the potential to cure diseases that have touched many people. We’re committed to realizing this potential. We will support responsible research that could develop new treatments, improve public health and deliver relief to patients in America and even around the world.

Abortion - Pro Life

In every instance a pro-life view should be taken when the situation is the result of the woman’s and man’s irresponsible action. In these instances, the woman does not have the choice to abort the baby as she and her partner did not think of the consequences that could come through their actions. In the cases of rape which first of all was not the woman’s choice, it is the woman’s decision and she is allowed to think through whether she would want to have the baby or not. The same actions are to be taken when dealing with incest or the mom’s or baby’s life. In the cases that contraceptives were not used by choice, the woman should have to birth the baby and if she does not want it then she could put it up for adoption. Putting a baby up for adoption is always an alternative to simply killing the baby.

Marijuana

Legal Drinking Age

We believe that the legal drinking age should be reduced to the age of 18 years old. We support that the current drinking age of 21 is inconsistent with the formal definition of what our country identifies as an adult , which is 18 years of age. If an individual can vote, serve in the armed forces, enter into contracts, marry, and even serve on juries or be sentenced to prison, we believe that an individual has the maturity and should be given the respect to consume alcohol legally. Also, the drinking age of 21 has instilled unsafe drinking habits within young adults and adolescents with most of alcohol consumption being binge drinking behavior. Lowering the drinking age to 18 will help prohibit unsafe drinking behind closed doors and allow guardians and others to teach individuals sensible and safe drinking options.

Education

As our nation grows, the drive for an educational reform may very well be needed. Our party believes that standardized test should not be used to assess students on their educational level. Instead, we will have teachers work to become closer with the student on a personal level, rather than teach the same required material to every student in order to have them pass the course. Teachers can use innovative and new technology in order to promote a better learning experience, for example replacing textbooks with tablets. Teachers should not only teach the required material to students, but they should teach them to think creatively and positively and to use their own ideas and learning methods in order to complete the courses they are taking.

To this day, school systems have not changed from the way they were over a century ago. The number of students in each classroom would be reduced in order to make it easier for teachers to connect with their students. To accommodate the reduction in class sizes, more class rooms can be made from spare rooms or new ones can be paid for and built by the federal government, with constructing new buildings being a last resort.

Immigration

America is known to be the melting pot of all culture and ethnicities. People from all over the world move to America for better education, jobs, and opportunities. Most immigrants are trying to gain their citizenship or are in the process of doing so. For some, they do choose to be illegal, simply because they believe it’s too hard to gain citizenship. Although we do not think illegal immigrants should be pouring into america, we do believe everyone should have equal opportunities. Our party believes that we should make the citizenship an easier and quicker process. We will create more jobs with assisting individuals who want to gain citizenship but do not know how. We will have more flexible appointment dates, we will give information, advice, and assistance to applicants. A Foreign citizen must fulfill the citizenship requirements. The requirements are to fill out the application, go to an USCIS interview, make a biometric appointment, and have a thorough background check. After we make this process easier, we plan on making our borders more secure, and have more punishments for trying to cross it illegally. Therefore we are giving foreign immigrants the ability to gain citizenship, if after five years foreigners whom have lived here for five years and over still do not have their citizenship, they will be deported.

ISIS

We need to contain the spread and destroy ISIS within the Middle East by committing ground forces in Iraq and Syria. The reason we need to commit ground forces is due to the fact that indigenous forces are capable of neutralizing this huge threat. We need to stem the flow of immigrants from this region until we can guarantee that we can properly vet (including background checks) these individuals. Currently, the vetting of these individuals has proven to be extremely difficult due to the fact that the records required to verify their backgrounds are not available. If we want to provide shelter for the refugees, the best approach is to create and secure a refugee camp within the region. This will provide the refugees a safe haven until the conflict is resolved, at which time they can return home.

Jobs

In regards to business and jobs, we encourage our businesses to stay within the United States. We like to dismiss the idea of outsourcing our jobs overseas. If labor costs are significantly reduced overseas, we will proceed with approval for outsourcing. This will allow a surplus of money to be filtered back into our company allowing us to use it for other endeavors. We support small businesses and give them tax incentives to ensure that more jobs are created. We encourage unions and advocate for the rights of all laborers no matter their income level.

Job Regulation

The Federal minimum wage will sustain to be $7.25. Once a year all workplaces will be inspected to ensure that the company is upholding the Civil Rights Act of 1964, providing a safe place to work, and no illegal immigrants are holding a position at the workplace. All workers will be granted a 30 minute break every 4 hours worked. For those who are working on weekends or national holidays companies must grant overtime pay. No person under the age of 16 is eligible to work.

Military - Security/ Defense

We believe in a proactive military and strong defense. We support the creation and innovation of weapons and technologies to further protect our nation. We want to increase our nation's readiness for war by instilling a class for all individuals to complete in high school allowing us to have a more trained and skilled warfront. We draft only in times of war or if troops are low and all men must sign up for selective services once 18 years old with females having an option. We desire our military to help internationally by having commanders train overseas and have stations overseas to act if needed.

Religion

We believe individuals have the freedom to worship whatever religion they please. Individuals can worship in any religious secular and gather with whomever. Individuals can read or gain knowledge from any religious text with no censorships. People can worship monotheistic or polytheistic religions and any variation of religious deities. Religion can be worshipped publicly or privately. The government should not treated anyone differently based on their religious beliefs.

Separation of Church and State

Our party believes that church and state should be completely separated. Although any individual is allowed to worship any religion they’d like, it is absolutely necessary that it remains separated from the government. No official can press any form of religious belief on their group. They can participate in any church practice and or event, but it must be completely out of their group. Holidays will remain what they’re currently called, and any individual can openly represent their beliefs.

Death Penalty

The death penalty needs to have more strict rules for when it may be used. The death penalty should not be used in the case of a person being proven to be mentally ill or mentally unstable. In addition, a person who purposely commits a crime that leads to the death of another in any way will be subject to the death penalty. Criminals that have not been subject to the death penalty will spend the rest of their life in prison unless found not guilty at any point in their life. The death penalty shall not be used for any other crimes like stealing or crimes as simple as running a red light.

Assisted Suicide

We do not believe that a patient should have to suffer a prolonged life with a terminal illness whilst being forced into debt by the expensive medical costs. If a patient is terminally ill they could get assisted suicide. Only if the medical treatment that the patient would receive would only extend the patient’s life while still costing an excessive amount of money. The patient would need to provide proof that they have a terminal illness as well as providing a signed document from the patient’s relatives if the patient is a minor stating that they are allowing the assisted suicide. The assisted suicide would be done by lethal injection so the patient’s death is quick and painless.

Protesting

All people have the right to peacefully assemble. This requires a permit from the government and the government will help frame what is permitted within the legal parameters. On the other hand, if protesting that is violent, such as taking other people’s rights and safety away, then those who assisted in the violent protest will be punished. The punishment depends on how violent the act was. Punishment will then by addressed by our legal system.

Judge’s Rights

Our government is divided into the executive, legislative, and judicial which provides as a system of checks and balances. Under the judicial branch the judge’s have the power to enforce the laws based on the constitution. Enforcing laws is significantly different than making the law. Judge’s do not have the right to interpret the law. The constitution is where all our laws stay and if there is something not included or unspecified, amend the constitution.

Censorship

The United States government holds no suppression of freedom of speech, press, or other communications that may be objectionable. Citizens protection of speech can only be taken away if it falls in the lines of obscenity. The federal government does not hold the authority to surveil any private forms of communication such as phone calls or emails. Although this right is declined if there is probable cause such as a criminal record or tips are received by law enforcement, or you are an alien in the country.

Transgender plank

Individuals who identify as transgenders will be obligated to use the restroom of their gender at birth when in public areas including government owned property. However, private owned businesses have the freedom to choose to add a family bathroom in which transgenders may use. This action of having a third bathroom will allow transgenders to feel comfortable doing their business without feeling threatened or judged. Transgenders who violate this and proceed to use a bathroom of the gender they identify with will be punished at the hands of the business owner. Violators may be fined fined and serve time depending on their actions made.

Gay Rights / Same Sex Marriage

We believe individuals should have the freedoms to love who they wish no matter their gender or their partners gender. Any individual can marry another individual regardless of gender in any state. There should be no impact or influence on the government's treatment of individuals regardless of sexual orientation, preference, gender, or gender identity. The government cannot define, license, or restrict personal relationships. Individuals have the right to be who they want regardless of their gender assignment at birth.
